Elves trying to ride a 4 wheeler?

Bella and Elvis ride in style

Who would have thought that elves like to ride 4 wheelers? We would have thought they would have been found on a snowmobile. Our silly elves had made a ramp and were found on the back two wheels only. They are dare devils! Somehow they talked Mrs. Gingerwoman to join them. I don't know how they keep getting the Gingers off of the tree, but they do.

Our Elves miss the North Pole

Trying to escape through the fireplace

This morning we woke up to our elves playing in the fireplace. Bella was hanging out with Mrs. Gingerwoman, wearing Gabbie's earmuffs and Alvis was swinging from the chimney flue latch. We aren't too sure what they were trying to do with the stockings, but all we can figure out is that maybe they were missing the North Pole so they were pretending they were in snow.

We woke up this morning and found our elves.

This morning Mommy came into our room and said something had happened. We both ran into the living room to find a big mess. Bodies response was: Whaaaat? The elves had made such a mess out of the house. We helped clean up the mess and we decorated the tree. We are really excited about our elves and hope that they will report great news back to Santa.

Alvis the elf is soooo coool!

I love Bella! She looks like ME!

Elf Rules

When you ask Santa for an Elf there are a lot of rules and responsibilities that go along with being able to have an Elf at your house for the holidays.

  • The elf reports to Santa all of your behavior, both good and bad.
  • Each night, crackers and water must be left out for the elves. Why you ask? The crackers sound like crunching snow, and the water is melted North Pole Snowflakes.
  • The elves can only stay during the holidays and have to return home with Santa on Christmas eve.
  • Sometimes the elves can make 'special appearances' during the year like birthday parties

The Elves have Arrived

What a mess the elves made!

We have been talking to Bodie and Gabbie about the elves for a week now. On Tuesday, we sat down and wrote a letter to Santa asking if 2 elves could come stay with us for the holidays. Bodie has names his elf: Alvis, and Gabbie has named hers: Bella. They haven't seen the elves yet. Tonight they put out some crackers for the elves just hoping that they would come. We have explained to them that the elves are very busy making toys and we aren't sure that Santa will be able to let 2 elves move in with us until Christmas. We are so excited for them to get up in the morning and see the mess the elves have made. These crazy creatures have tried to decorate the house, but somehow made a big mess. Alvis got caught up in the toilet paper trying to decorate the tree, and Bella has gotten tangled in the Christmas lights. I know the kids are going to be so excited for their new friends, and we can't wait to see what kind of adventures our elves will go on.
